Are you a keen tinkerer who loves solving problems by taking electronic devices apart?

Then you have all the makings of an electrician! And if you have dreams of being an expert in the craft, then the life of a master electrician suits you!

Becoming a master electrician isn’t as easy as it seems. They’re in charge of delegating electrician apprentices to projects in commercial, industrial and residential areas. Usually, master electricians are the ones who manage a project’s planning stages while making sure that each of these projects has all the necessary materials to get the job done. Using testing equipment, they are also trained to diagnose, install, repair, remove, and maintain electrical parts for the sake of solving problems.

Achieving this status means you’ve completely honed all these skills necessary and are ready to apply them professionally.

So how do you become a master electrician exactly? You’ll need to study in the best school that will prepare you to become the best master electrician there is, and what better way to do this than to take note of the schools that consistently rank in the annual Master Electrician Board Exams conducted by the Professional Regulation Committee (PRC), right?

The PRC holds two Master Electrician Board Exams each year, which usually take place every April and September. These results are usually released by the Board of Electrical Engineering three working days after the day of the exam, including the names of the top performing schools

For 2019, the exams will take place on April 17 and September 2. Registrations for the first set of exams took place from December 14, 2018 to March 15, 2019. But if you weren’t able to submit your applications in time for the April exam, you still have another chance to apply from May 1 to August 1, 2019 for the September exams.

So if you’re eyeing a school, check out these top performing schools from the 2018 board exams, which are arranged based on their ranking:
