Examples of diplomas include:
- Upper secondary certificates and diplomas from the Nordic countries, European countries (Baccalaureate diploma) and other countries that have signed the European Convention on the Equivalence of Diplomas, Leading to Admission to Universities. This also applies to applicants with a high school diploma from countries with a similar educational system
- High school diplomas from the United States followed by either two years of university or college studies in relevant subjects. This also applies to applicants with a high school diploma from countries with a similar educational system

The following qualifications from this country satisfy the minimum requirements for admission to Danish academy profession and professional bachelor programmes:
12 years of schooling:
- High School Diploma (Katibayan) (12 years of schooling)/Academic Track
- High School Diploma (Katibayan) (12 års skolegang)/Arts and Design Track/Sports Track/Technical-Vocational Livelihood Track. NB: You are required to document at least Danish B level in English and Danish C level in Mathematics.
Admission to university bachelor programmes normally requires supplementary courses in addition to the above-mentioned qualifications. The decision on admission is made by the university.
10 years of schooling:
- High School Diploma (kurso sa sekundarya - Leaving Certificate, Diploma, Katibayan, Katunayan) (10 years of schooling) + 1 year of higher education studies or equivalent supplementary studies satisfies the minimum requirements for admission to satisfy the minimum requirements for admission to Danish academy profession and professional bachelor programmes.
- High School Diploma (kurso sa sekundarya - Leaving Certificate, Diploma, Katibayan, Katunayan) (10 years of schooling) +2 years of higher education studies or equivalent supplementary studies satisfies the minimum requirements for admission to Danish undergraduate programmes.
